About the Council

St. Clare of Assisi Council was founded in June 2001 and just celebrated its 10 year anniversary!  Working hand in hand with Pastor and Council Chaplain Fr. Thomas Lehning, the Council assists in many aspects of the parish: providing ushers and lectors, donating funds for various projects, adopting the 2-mile stretch of road leading to the Church. Council members are known for being active participants in their parish.

Message from the Grand Knight

Welcome to our council website!

The St. Clare of Assisi Council is a very active of group of Catholic men with a history of charity to the church and community.  Our council is involved in many events and fund-raisers dedicated for the benefit of parishioners, local charities, seminarians, people in need and other councils.

Throughout its history, the Knights of Columbus has been an effective advocate and defender of civil and religious rights for all. Over the years, the Knights of Columbus organization has contributed billions of dollars and millions of hours of volunteer service to charity. Our council is proud to be a part of that history.

We look forward to a challenging and productive year.  Our council calendar is posted elsewhere on this website for all to see our scheduled activities and events in the St. Clare of Assisi and greater diocesan community.
