July 1, 2016
To my brother Knights of Virginia,
Welcome to the 2016-2017 Fraternal Year! Last year our theme was Living a Fraternal Journey Live, Know, Share our Faith, and we focused on the ‘Knowing’ our faith concept, because we can’t live it or share it, if we do not know it. As we begin a new fraternal year, we will shift to the view of “Sharing” our faith as we begin to ENCOUNTER the LORD. Read more HERE.
From the Membership Director:
This past week we discussed many facets of membership:
1. The parish has 3 separate family structures: young adults, growing families and senior adults.
2. Each requires an approach that fits their needs.
3. It all begins with a conversation, presenting the benefits of the Order and the value it presents to the family.
4. Personal experiences of your Knight's journey makes it a valuable conversation.
5. Invite the family to join - we are building the church one Knight's family at a time!
