March 11, 2017 - The March quarterly meeting of the Virginia Knights of Columbus was back at full capacity, following the much smaller gathering in January, when a heavy snow prevented many (especially from Tidewater) from getting to the mid-year meeting.

An all-day training session for incoming Grand Knights and others climbing the ladder of leadership roles at councils around the state received an intensive introduction to the duties of the offices they will soon assume.

After several months of interviews and deliberations, the Nominating Committee took a vote and offered a slate of candidates for the 2017-2018 Fraternal Year:

State Deputy - Stephen J. Kehoe

State Secretary - Ed Polich

State Treasurer - Bob Szerszynski

State Advocate - Brian Ripple

State Warden - Mark Janda

Convention Chairman Patrick Rowland reminded everyone to register for the annual meeting in Williamsburg May 5-7, and provided a preview of the many events that will be held there.
