Virginia State Council creates fund to help St. Patrick's Church in Richmond in wake of fire

A fire caused an estimated $100,000 damage to the rectory at historic St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Richmond on Friday, July 15, 2016, and the Virginia State Council has established a fund for donations to help the parish with expenses and repairs.

The church, located in the historic Church Hill neighborhood, had only recently renovated the rectory building.

The State Council has established a fund, and made an initial $1,000 donation. If your council wishes to donate to the fund, please write the check to Virginia State Council and list St. Patrick Church Fund in the memo line.

Checks should be sent to:

Stephen J. Kehoe

State Secretary

10228 Shiloh Street

Fairfax, VA  22030

The rectory is located next to the church building, which was not damaged.
