July 11, 2015 - State officers and staff, District Deputies, and Grand Knights and Financial Secretaries all got together at the Peninsula Catholic High School in Newport News, Virginia on Saturday, July 11 for the organizational meeting of the Virginia State Council of the Knights of Columbus.
Following the meeting, there was a Mass and installation of officers at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Newport News, and a formal dinner and dance at the Columbian Center (the meeting place for Walter Pollard Council 5480) in Newport News. Sunday morning, officers, district deputies and state directors met at the same location before heading home.
Wives were treated to a free Ladies Luncheon at St. Jerome Church immediately folllowing Saturday morning's meeting of LOV - the Ladies of Virginia.
